Gloucester Rd WI December 2020 

This year has been different and a challenge for many. We’ve been lucky to still be able to connect with so many of our members and connections can make the world of difference to anyone who might feel alone or has needed to isolate. We’ve had some fantastic meetings and a massive thank you to last year's committee who stepped up and kept us all together. Also special thanks to all our members who are front line workers, may have volunteered to help others or just those who regularly do everyday acts of kindness. You’re all amazing and we look forward to seeing you all for an exciting programme next year (Don’t forget that 2020 memberships are extended until March so no sign up mayhem in January).
The 2021 programme will be announced at our Christmas Quiz.

Thanks to everyone who donated to our Christmas charity event this year. We did a food bank donation instead of our usual raffle and you’ve been so generous! We’ll drop these up to our local north Bristol food bank this week. Also, unwanted Christmas presents can make great charity raffle prizes so do let us know before you have a New Year clear out!
 

  Want to support the Gloucester Road and local businesses during lockdown but not sure what is open or available??
A couple of local women have walked the streets and made a google doc with as much information on as possible. Click and collect, delivery, opening hours: it's all on there in one easy to use sheet that you can keep on your phone and share with friends and family rather than scrolling through every site.
