PRESIDENTS WRAP UP
I take this opportunity to wish each and every one of our members and supporters a safe and happy Christmas, and a new year that is kind to you and your families.
As we prepare for the AGM early next year, and hopefully head into a more normal year, I encourage everyone to liaise closely with your Zone delegates and State Council with feedback, ideas and inspiration. Sport benefits from connection and interaction between individuals, clubs, zones and peak bodies, and that interaction is imperative to grow our sport in challenging times. We have a number of initiatives working well, but there is always room for innovation and expansive thinking.
As we approach the end of an incredibly challenging year, I extend thanks to all those people across WA who contributed to our polocrosse season at club, zone, and PAWA level. We enjoyed minimal disruption to polocrosse compared to the rest of the country, and were the envy of those whose seasons were cut short. Although numbers were down at carnivals, it was great to see the enthusiasm displayed, especially by our up and coming stars in the Junior E and subbies.
Pip Crook.
