Dear Friends,

As we make our way through January of a new year it's an opportunity to think about how we're connecting with the things that improve our health and wellbeing. Making time to connect with loved ones and simple low-cost activities like taking a break in nature and keeping hydrated, can make a real difference to how you feel.

Good self-care looks different for everyone. In this newsletter edition, Anxiety NZ Psychologist Stephanie shares 8 tips on self-care below that you can use help improve how you feel physically, emotionally and mentally.

Another free resource is our National 24/7 free 0800 Anxiety Helpline (0800 269 4389). Watch our new video to learn more about the Anxiety Helpline and how the service can help you, or a friend or loved one, to learn about anxiety and practice tools to manage stress such as breathing exercises, progressive muscle relaxation or guided visualisation.

We'd like to say a very special thank you to TECT, Dragon Community Trust and The Lion Foundation for their recent support which helps Anxiety NZ to provides a range of essential services to communities throughout New Zealand.

Take Care,
The team at Anxiety NZ
