Newsletter December 2020

The last newsletter of 2020 finds ENCCS well and growing fast. In its 3-month life, ENCCS has been established, organised 3 events with a total of 130 participants, made progress in its supported software and got in contact with key industrial partners, public sector and academia for collaborations in the near future.

Upcoming Training Events

We have planned a busy schedule of training events for the first quarter of next year. The selected training topics correspond well with the areas identified by our training survey, which was conducted in October and November, and we hope these events will provide much needed training in key HPC and AI topics. These are the currently planned events for Q1 2021:

  • 12-13 January 2021: Advanced topics with GROMACS
  • 9 February 2021CMake
  • 16-17 February 2021Practical Deep Learning
  • 8 March 2021: Bootcamp “AI for Science” - NVIDIA/ENCCS (more information coming soon)
