Donor-Advised Fund Gift
A donor-advised fund (DAF) acts like a charitable investment account, allowing you to make a charitable donation, receive an immediate tax benefit, and then recommend grants to charitable organizations from your fund over time. So the money in your Donor-Advised Fund has the potential to grow tax-free, invested based on your preferences, while you’re deciding when or which charities to support.
To learn more about establishing a donor-advised fund, you can visit one of these sponsoring public charities:
Contact your tax accountant, wealth advisor, or donations@sachenfoundation.org for more information.

IRA Charitable Rollover Gift
If you are 70 ½ years of age or older, an IRA rollover contribution (also known as a Qualified Charitable Distribution) can help fulfill your required minimum distribution, and this charitable distribution is not considered taxable income.
Contact your tax accountant, wealth advisor, or donations@sachenfoundation.org for more information.

We firmly believe that in order to follow the footsteps of the Perfectly Enlightened Buddha, it is necessary for us to uphold the Buddha Dharma through its teachings and practice. It was under the compassionate guidance of His Holiness Sakya Trichen Rinpoche that His Holiness Ratna Vajra Rinpoche established the Kalimpong Sakya monastery in 2006 and named it Sakya Tsechen Thinley Dargye Ling, with noble aspirations to educate monks and enable them to be of service to the Buddha Dharma and the society at large.
