Hello, family and friends of Calvary Church of Denver. I trust that you enjoyed your Thanksgiving in a memorable fashion. During the holiday, we sent prayers for every household for God‘s presence to be experienced by everyone. One thing we need—for sure these days—is the peace of God which goes beyond human reasoning! Thank God for his peace with which passes understanding!
It is with the Spiritual fruit of peace in my own heart that I alert you to the fact that I have tested positive for COVID-19. I must quickly follow that statement with this: my symptoms have been minimal and I was only testing as a matter of routine to be sure that I would not in advertently pass the virus along. I praise God for that and pray it continues.
Now, Calvary Sunday worship will need to move our services back to an online only format this coming Sunday, November 29. In addition to prayers for me, I also ask you to pray for other church team members who have experienced symptoms that may be the same virus as well.
In the meantime, please let the Lord remain close to you by way of your prayer, his word, and the best online experience we are able to provide at cacdenver.org. (Thank the Lord for our team of technicians and musicians who know how to harness the power of technology to bring you God’s word and worship virtually.
This coming Sunday, Lord willing, I will be bringing you a message regarding the second major feast of Israel, the Feast of Weeks. You do not want to miss participating without distraction via any of our live streaming outlets this coming Sunday at 11:00 AM. I believe this message will help everyone appreciate what it means to be Pentecostal in a fresh and powerful way.
