Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools recently began providing student email access for scholars in grades PK through 5. Now, CMS students in all grades have access to student email via Google Mail.

Student email accounts are for use in conjunction with coursework and day-to-day educational activities. Email offers a confidential and secure channel for students to communicate with CMS teachers and administrators. In some cases due to age or accessibility, guardians or parents may use the service on behalf of a student.

Media Center books will not be collected in the classroom or brought to the Media Center this year by students as part of our safety procedures.   Students are asked to bring their books back to school before their next Media class and place them in return bins in the hallways in the morning.  These book bins are then placed in a quarantine area for one week.  Please share this change with your child. Thank you!!
