Kia ora koutou,

As summer arrives (or we are at least in good hope) we tend to spend more time outside and off the couch, so I will keep it short - enjoy reading my newsletter!

Forest Whisper Solo Exhibition and Artist in Residence 2021

I am thrilled to exhibit my work at from out of the blue studio gallery in Opunake, Taranaki early next year. The gallery has just open in 2019 and showcases fibre and textile art from New Zealand and international artists.

My exhibition will run from 18th of February - 27th of March 2021

Part of the exhibition is an artist in residence where I will have time to develop new work, responding to the local environment of Opunake/Taranaki.

I will provide more info closer to the date. In the meantime check out the gallery and exhibitions here

Workshops

I have just added some new workshops to my website, the eco dye workshop and the looping & weaving workshops are in high demand, so be quick as I only run them with low numbers of people and they usually fill fast.

I feel privileged being asked to offer a looping workshop as part of Star Gossage's exhibition 'He Tangata The People' opening last week at the New Zealand Portrait Gallery in Wellington. The workshop will be held on the 23 of January. Details about booking will follow soon on my website or direct on the website of the gallery.

Private Workshops

I can accommodate for 2-4 people on weekends and during the week. I have run those workshops in the past and they are a great option if you missed out on my advertised workshops, have other commitments that day or if you are a group of friends wanting to learn together.
I am looking forward to hearing from you!
