Dear Parents and Carers,
 
I am writing to inform you that I have been made aware that one of our Year 10 students at the College have tested positive for COVID 19.

Understandably, this will concern you all but be assured we are monitoring the situation and continue to work closely with Public Health England, the Department for Education and our Local Authority. As always, I wanted to take the earliest opportunity to inform you of the current situation and provide advice on how to support your child.
 
We have carried out an investigation to establish which other students that this student has come in to close contact with. Following this investigation, all Parents/Carers of students who have been identified as a close contact of the child who has tested positive for COVID have now been contacted and advised that their child must now self-isolate for 14 days.
 
All rooms are already being cleaned as part of our daily cleaning procedures with specific areas having a deep clean.
