Welcome to Real People from Clive Parry, ARC England's new Director
Clive Parry, ARC England Director"I am thrilled to take up my post as the ARC England Director at a time when the day-to-day demands on providers reflect the extraordinary times we are living through.

We are only part-way through the week, but already we have seen a welcome shift on visits to care homes, the publication for the first time of guidance around visits of supported people to their families and loved ones outside registered care settings and confirmation that adults with a learning disability will be vaccinated during phase one of the Covid-19 vaccination programme.

I look forward to hearing directly from you about how the pandemic has affected your organisation, the people you support, their families and your staff teams but I am also keen to engage with providers on the issues that will determine what the world after Covid-19 looks like. Please do let me know about any pressing concerns."

Clive Parry, ARC England Director
