The day is here! Village Connections is participating in #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving back.
#GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving and kicks off the holiday giving season. This year, we’re partnering with GIVE65, a program of the Home Instead Foundation.
By now, you’ve probably received a copy of our Annual Appeal letter. Many have already made a donation--thank you! If you’re still thinking of making a contribution, Giving Tuesday is the perfect opportunity, as it is the only day during the giving season where we have matching funds available.
Timing is important to have a chance at the $5,000 in matching grants which are given on a first-donated, first-matched basis. We are asking you to visit www.give65.org/villageconnectionscolumbus. Here, you can also learn about the impact your gift will have on older adults in our community.
We encourage you to give as early as possible today,so we have a chance to receive up to $5,000 in matching funds.
