ROYER-GREAVES HOLIDAY CONCERT AND GIFT CARD COLLECTION
Continuing with a long-standing tradition, we will be providing gift cards to help support Royer-Greaves School for Blind as well as performing our Annual Holiday concert this month. Like everything else this year, there will be some changes. This year, the concert will be virtual instead of live and the 3rd and 4th Grade Chorus will send a video of their performance. In return, we will receive a video of their students performing, which will be very exciting to share.
We will also be changing the way in which we send our donation support to the school. This year, all donations will be virtual in order to make the process easier for everyone. They have asked for all donations to be e-gift cards from Amazon. Please consider donating a gift card in any denomination to support this unique school; any amount is greatly appreciated.
All donations should be sent to the recipient controller@royer-greaves.org. They will then be able to distribute these cards to their students and programs.
For those who are unfamiliar with the program, Dr. Jessie Royer-Greaves founded the school in 1921 for students with visual and other impairments, the first school of its kind in the country. The school continues to provide critical education and services to both students and adults in our community. Their mission is to ensure that the students and adults who are part of the Royer-Greaves family receive education, training and therapeutic services tailored to meet their individual needs and preferences so that they may lead the most fulfilling and independent lives possible. We are proud to continue this partnership and support their mission through our donations and voices.
