Don’t miss out on this great gardening series. Just 30 minutes every Wednesday in January.
The World I See is a 4-H Photography contest where a 4-H member (youth ages 9-18 as of January 1, 2021) will take a photo, have it printed and mount it on poster board or foam board. If the 4-H member is part of an in-school 4-H Club they will upload pictures of the completed project and photos that show the dimensions of the photograph and dimensions of the board it is mounted on, to their 4-H Google Classroom. If youth are not part of one of our in-school 4-H Clubs the photos can e-mailed to goodkim@aces.edu
This project is due by January 21, 2021.

Talladega County 4-H will be attending 4-H Summer Camp at the Alabama 4-H Center in Columbiana, AL on June 14-16, 2021.
A $25 deposit is due by February 15, 2021. We will not start taking deposits until December 1, 2020.
We have 40 slots available and they are on a first-come basis. Once the slots are filled we will start a waiting list.

USDA Quality Loss Assistance

2018, 2019 Natural Disasters

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) announced today that signup for the Quality Loss Adjustment (QLA) Program will begin Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021. Funded by the Further Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2020, this new program provides assistance to producers who suffered eligible crop quality losses due to natural disasters occurring in 2018 and 2019. The deadline to apply for QLA is Friday, March 5, 2021. Read more.
