Our LAC Leadership Team (Latin America / Caribbean) continues to meet online at least twice a month.

Roger translates from English to Spanish, Spanish to English to make back-to-back meetings go smoothly and not take up the entire day. The meetings aren't without bumps but it is amiable as the leaders in the Latin America and Caribbean Team work together enthusiastically. God is answering our continual prayers for oneness in spirit in this highly motivated, God-driven and prayerful bunch of men who would like nothing more than a full out Gospel invasion of Latin America. But they have to take it slowly. They have to Zoom, plan, and work through unbelievable logistics to meet couples where they are. God is blessing!
In October we had our first Champions Conference for Latin America. (FamilyLife Champions are Key Couples that are passionate about ministering to marriages and families in their own communities.) Ron Deal from FamilyLife Blended was our keynote speaker, with Roger doing simultaneous translation. Blended family ministry is sorely lacking in Latin America, so Ron's teaching – approaching blended families with God's grace to restore broken people in difficult circumstances, and to redeem the next generation (their children) by giving them godly examples of biblical family relationships – was a call to action that touched many hearts.
