Dear Minnesota Croatian Friends,

Join us the afternoon of December 5th at 1 pm for this fun community Zoom event! Both Croatian and English speakers are welcome to participate. It’s easy, fun and it involves food.  Not a cook? No problem.  Pour yourself a glass of vino or pivo and just hang out with us.

Marko Kirn has generously offered to provide an easy cooking class of pasta and shrimp.  Please see the recipe below if you'd like to cook along with him.

A little bit about Marko - he was born and raised in Rijeka, western part of Croatia. It’s a port city and similar climate to San Francisco with dry summers and mild winters. It used to be Italian territory before WW II, thus a strong Italian influence. All of his education was in Italian language - except College. Marko visited the USA in the summer of 2001 and 2002; subsequently moved to Minnesota in 2003 and has been married to Cindy since then.  Together, Marko and Cindy own Sass, a unique boutique in the US Bank Building in downtown St. Paul.

We hope you can join us for our first event!  If you have any questions, please feel free to reply to this email.
Let's cook together with this FREE Virtual Zoom cooking class with Marko Kirn!

Croatian Language Classes
We are sad that we cannot offer our in-person language class which has been canceled for this fall. We are recommending an alternative for those who would like to continue their learning. This free online course from the University of Zagreb is an excellent resource.  See link below
