Dear Friend, 
                   Every year from the frontlines I watch homies and homegirls face challenges.  Its especially hard when you see people in your community face needs; people you may have shared clothes with, shared a soup in prison with, shared the same cell for years.  The struggles they continue to face distract from the changes and especially they strive so hard to embrace.  Many struggles may only be known to them and the Lord.  Each one of their stories are unique, and their successes are each an exquisite encounter.  I always feel blessed when they allow me to stand next to them and see their progress happening, and I always thank them for this.
I also am above and beyond grateful for everyone of you.  You all have heard my heart and seen the importance in this unique work. So Thank You All.

This Tuesday is Giving Tuesday; the day every year nonprofits ask you to kindly consider supporting them through special donations.

Donations from individuals like you are the foundation of funding for Second Chance Outreach.  They allow us to keep doing what we do:

• Reach In to prisons and bring hope that a better future awaits.
• Reach Out to embrace homies as they re-enter society and commit to walking a straighter path.
• Embrace homies at the Hope for Homies farm, growing produce and flowers together that get funneled back into the at-risk communities we serve.
• Prevent re-offenses and involvement with crime and violence by mentoring youth and working with families on supporting at risk individuals.
