Hi! I’m Karen, your new Regional Business Manager for Waikato and Bay of Plenty. If I haven’t met you already, I look forward to doing so soon as I make my way around the region.
I joined Nitrogenx recently after spending 30 years in the dental industry. My roles were varied and included dental chairside assisting, practice management, consumables sales, capital equipment sales and more recently; infection prevention and control consulting, training and auditing to AS/NZS 4815:2006 and AS/NZS 4187:2014.
I am a New Zealand Dental Association Dental Assistant and have also completed a Certificate in Sterilisation Technology (Level 4). With my background, I am passionate about helping anyone providing health or cosmetic services meet best practice standards.
Outside of work I am a mum to 7-year-old Finn and constant annoyance to my partner Nigel. I am a book worm, pretend gardener, movie watcher and a when time allows creative. I’m also still happy to talk infection control or dentistry to anyone who will listen.
I’m proud to be working for a New Zealand owned and operated company that is investing in the local economy. I’m also excited to let you know that from this month the Waikato and Bay of Plenty region will be serviced from our new depot in Tauriko, Tauranga. We are in a temporary site for now while our permanent site is under construction. Tauriko was selected to become our hub for the wider Bay of Plenty, Waikato and Coromandel regions as we continue to grow.
