Dear <<First Name>>,

#GivingTuesday is here! And we'd love for you to join us by sustaining our EduColor work on a monthly basis.

In 2020, we realigned EduColor to better meet the needs of the people we serve: our students, our educators, our communities.

In the middle of many unprecedented challenges, school districts across the country and the world set aside the critical work of culturally responsive-sustaining education, anti-racist education, and the diversification of the teaching profession to the side. EduColor does and will continue to center the fight for educators of color and conscience, by us, and about us.

We have seven reasons why we would love for you to join us as a sustainer:
  1. We are an all-volunteer organization and have been since we started.
  2. We continue to support educators across the country and internationally through professional development and building on and offline networks.
  3. We're building out local work. Our first focus group, EduColorNYC, will have its inaugural event in a couple of weeks with NY State Senator Jessica Ramos and professor Yolanda Sealey-Ruiz.
  4. We've signed on to push districts across the country to implement better policy and practice for remote and face-to-face teaching, including through our WeBuildEdu project!
  5. All of our materials, including our website and this newsletter, are created by educators and local artists!
  6. Our digital/national monthly chats continue to support educators on Twitter and other virtual spaces for free through healing and restoration.
  7. What's more, thanks to the support of PPEF, donations to us are now tax-deductible!
Our movement continues to face unprecedented challenges. With you, we can meet them.

As we build up and out for 2021, we would love to have you among the number of supporters willing to fight for educational equity and justice.

Help us amplify the voices of educators, students, and communities across the country with a simple monthly donation today.

Sincerely,

Jose Vilson
