Don’t forget to sign up to the free2021 Health and Wellbeing pupil survey, which will be rolled out in January. It is a blend of the successful ‘This is Harrow’ survey, and the Health & Well-Being questionnaires that are part of the Government’s Healthy Child Programme. This survey will help you identify the areas that your school needs to focus on, and will provide your school with data for your HSL Silver award and evidence for Ofsted. Also, you will receive a detailed report of your results.
Harrow PSHE leads are invited to the primary PSHE network on 10March from 3:30-5pm. Hear about the latest updates, resources and local initiatives for PSHE, network and share good practice with other PSHE leads and hear from guest speakers. Email Nicole if you would like to attend. This network is free.
Dial the Ealing Health Improvement team at any time on 9 December from 8am to 12pm to get your Healthy Schools London awards questions answered. We suggest asking your headteacher for cover between these hours to allow you time to complete your awards, and simply log in to Microsoft Teams using the link below and ask us as many questions as you like all morning. If there is more than one person in the virtual meeting room, you may need to wait in the ‘lobby’. Dial in at any time on the day from 8am to 12pm.
On 9 December, between 12:15pm to 1:15pm, attend one or more,15-minute trainings to help you complete the Healthy Schools London awards. Bookings not required. Here is the schedule:
12:15pm: How to complete the HSL Bronze award
12:30pm: Design a survey for your HSL Silver (with Survey Monkey)
12:45pm: Write a needs analysis for the HSL Silver award
If your school is aiming to achieve a HSL award this academic year, we suggest that your school submits their awards by the 7th January 2021. Schools that upload their HSL award to the HSL website by this date, will receive recognition at the 'award ceremony' at our conference in January, and schools will also receive a trophy. To help you achieve your awards, attend one or more of the activities outlined in this eNews.
