We’ve all heard the descriptions: “this year is like none other;” or “This is an unprecedented time; ” and many others.
At Trinity we feel this acutely with an inability to fully gather weekly. Connection and relationships are important to us as humans, as Christians and as a parish family. For the past nine months this has been taken away from us. Yet, the promise of new vaccines helps us to know that our current circumstances will end. I am asking that you hold on to that hope as you consider your pledge for 2020. We will be together soon! In the meantime, we need your support. For those who have already sent in their 2021 pledge thank you.
In planning for 2021, we anticipate having to eliminate our Parish Administrator position and we have cut back on our Sexton position. Even with those projected changes, we face further cuts of about $30,000. We need your help! The Vestry was hoping to have the majority of pledges in by November 15. We currently have about 40 pledges in from an anticipated 75. We have about half of the projected pledge income goal of $202,000.
