The winds took the top of the tent off! However, there was very minimal damage to the canvas! There is a possibility that we will not be able to get the canvas back up before Sunday. So you might want to bring a sun hat and some sunscreen and enjoy the service in the beautiful warmth of the sun.

In-Person Service & Weather
At this time of year, we occasionally get rain or inclement weather that would make running the service under the tent difficult or unsafe with all the electronic elements. If weather conditions force us inside, we will provide that morning's service via our Live Stream Only. We will put a notification on the home page of our website letting you know, so if you awake to unfriendly weather on a Sunday morning please check our website before coming to Orchard.
If you missed the Tree Lighting or would like to rewatch it click the button below! It was as always a great way to kick-off the Advent Season.

New Message Series

Prepare Him Room

In the story of Jesus’ birth, we’re told that he was born in a stable because there was no room at the inn.  The Bible doesn’t actually mention an innkeeper, but the poor guy gets a pretty bad wrap for someone we’re not even sure existed because of this.  Yet, it didn’t end there, Jesus often found that people didn’t have room for Him. The Jewish leaders didn’t have room for Jesus, neither did King Herod or the Romans, they all saw Him as a threat or problem.  Most of the people didn’t have room for Jesus either because He wasn’t what they expected or wanted Him to be.  Today many people still don’t have room for Jesus because inviting him into their lives and hearts would mean real change.  Yet despite all of our reservations, the great Christmas carol Joy to the World proclaims, “Let every heart prepare Him room.”  So can we make room?  Are we too busy?   Too afraid?  Too proud?  Are we closed to Jesus or can we make room for Him and all He wants to bring to and do in us?

This Week's Message!

December 6, 2020
“Make Room for Peace” (The Shepherds)

Luke 2:8-15 & Romans 5:1-2
An angel appeared to the shepherds with the news that Jesus the Messiah had been born who would bring with Him the gift of peace.  Can we make room for Him and the peace He brings?
