Evergreen Lutheran will not be holding our usual sacred Christmas concert this year. Instead, we will be hosting a virtual Christmas concert. Please stay tuned for more information regarding this spectacular event.
Snow Days
If there is a snow day, ELHS will not hold classes virtually. You will receive a notification via email, text and phone call. You can check and manage your notification settings in PowerSchool.
The ELHS Student Council and National Honor Society are teaming up to help out those in need this holiday season. We are collecting new or very gently used toys and coats. Donations will be given to B.A.S.H., a local food bank that helps many members of our community. Covid-19 has severely impacted B.A.S.H.'s ability to provide toys to children in need this year. Please consider helping out this holiday season. For all used items, please put them in a clean garbage bag, sealed up, so that they can be opened and sorted off campus.
ELHS Calendar
With all of the changing circumstances this year, our calendar has been updated several times. Just in case you have an outdated version at home, we do have school next week. Since the MLC trip was canceled, there is school Dec. 9-11 and a full day of school on Dec. 14.
Please be sure to print off our most recent calendar from the website.
Athletes will be required to wear masks while practicing.
Please be sure to bring enough layers to keep warm. Rain gear, stocking caps, sweatpants, sweatshirts, etc.
ELHS may cancel practices, same day, due to weather.
Pre-Season practices are not required. This is an opportunity to keep fit with your teammates.
Tuesday, December 8 - Boys Basketball (11th & 12th) and Girls Basketball (all grades) Thursday, December 10 - NO PRACTICES Monday, December 14 - Boys and Girls Soccer Thursday, December 17- Football and Volleyball
Practices are from 3:15-4:45pm.
Transportation is provided to Kitsap or Federal Way/Des Moines if needed. Students are encouraged to ride with their own households or carpool within their assigned athletic pods.
COVID-19 Information
Amidst the increased numbers of COIVD-19 cases, the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department is leaving the decision to return to remote/virtual learning to the individual school and school districts. ELHS will continue with in-person instruction with the option to attend virtually.
