Horseshoe Helpings
ADAI partnered with Prairie Farms to provide 2,000 families with a gallon of milk and a pound of butter at the Indianapolis Colt’s Horseshoe Helpings donation drive for the first time leading into Thanksgiving. The dairy offering was added to the Colts’ traditional offerings of a turkey and fixings for side items.

Fuel Greatness with Coach Tony Dungy
In partnership with the Dairy Council of Florida, ADAI hosted Hall of Fame Coach, Tony Dungy as a keynote speaker during a Fuel Up to Play 60 webinar. The event was aimed at engaging and uplifting our program advisors and school nutrition partners, to maintain a strong relationship in a time of need. Coach Dungy spoke to points such as uncommon leadership and finding a work-life balance. The live webinar reached over 200 program advisors across the country, and is available to view on our YouTube channel.

NEW Digital Dairy Lessons
This semester Fuel Up to Play 60 added a new K-3 dairy lesson plan for Indiana teachers. This lesson joins others created last year for students 3-12 and a full website of great dairy resources. Within three weeks of going live, over 1,000 programs were already downloaded!

Gaming Influencer Shares Dairy Experience: After virtually touring a Colorado dairy farm, Preston Playz (Minecraft gaming influencer) posted this video about his experience, which had over 700,000 views and over 40,000 likes in the first 12 hours of posting. Minecraft is the bestselling video game of all time and categorized as both entertainment and social media.

Looking at future of dairy exports: The checkoff-founded U.S. Dairy Export Council and the National Milk Producers Federation released an analysis of global trade barriers that are hampering worldwide dairy sales, intended to inform and guide the incoming administration and policymakers.
