Advent blessings of awakening, hopeful anticipation, and holy desires!
Our Discerning Leadership teams are preparing enthusiastically for the upcoming second Modules in English and Spanish. We’ve not only accepted but embraced the challenge of our online session and promise an actively engaging and interactive experience.
Our focus turns from the discerning leader to the discerning leadership that unfolds in teams and organizations. The content includes attention to teamwork, communications, conflict styles, leading change, and discernment in common. The most important content, as always, is what we bring with us: our challenges, opportunities, and questions.
We look forward to our special guest speakers, Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, Prefect of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples and Sr. María Luisa Berzosa, Jesuitina and Consul to the Secretary of the Synod of Bishops, who will address our Spanish speaking cohort, and Cardinal Michael Czerny, Undersecretary for Migrants and Refugees, who will address our English speaking cohort.
As we take stock of our mission, the service of a synodal Church, you may find interesting a feature length article on our Program in America Media and, more importantly, the Pope's own words (in his conversations with Austen Ivereigh) calling for hope in a more Synodal future Church (you can find both articles below).

Nuestros equipos de Liderazgo Discerniente están preparando con entusiasmo la segunda parte del curso en inglés y español. No sólo hemos aceptado, sino que hemos abrazado el reto de la formación virtual y prometemos una experiencia interactiva y altamente participativa.
Nuestro enfoque pasa del líder discerniente al liderazgo discerniente que se desarrolla en los equipos y organizaciones. El contenido incluye trabajo en equipo, comunicaciones, estilos de conflicto, liderazgo para el cambio y discernimiento en común. El contenido más importante, como siempre, es el que traemos con nosotros: nuestros desafíos, oportunidades y preguntas.
Esperamos con ilusión a nuestros invitados especiales, el Cardenal Luis Antonio Tagle, Prefecto de la Congregación para la Evangelización de los Pueblos y la Hna. Pope's "Let Us Hope" - The Holy Father of Fraternity
Julian Coman makes a review of the Book authored jointly by Pope Francis and Austen Ivereigh entitled 'Let Us Dream: The Path to a Better Future'.
In the article, Mr. Coman highlights the call of the Pope to take advantage of this time of crisis to discern which are the elements from which we want to rebuild our societies and relations. And he emphasizes that the Fraternity should have a central role in this process.
