Christmas Nativity Service...

Well, it has been a very long labour of love...but I have just FINISHED editing together what I hope will be a joyous and entertaining celebration of the Nativity Story, for us to watch together this Sunday morning on our YouTube channel. The "service" is just one hour long (almost exactly, which is a minor miracle in itself!), and it features performances and readings from a number of members of the congregation. I have "topped and tailed" it with a bit of info about Alpha...and some links to Holy Trinity Brompton's online resources (because they are excellent in both their quality and content). I also take the opportunity during the "service", to invite people to sign up for an online Alpha course, run by HTB, starting on the 6th January next year. 

I wanted to let you know some details about Sunday's service just in case you have non-Christian friends/family who you know may like to watch...please do invite them either to watch it with you, or send them the link.

The service really is quite light-hearted...and it features LOTS of us taking part. There are 5 short readings from the Gospels of Luke and Matthew, three carols (featuring the Colwell "Virtual Choir"!), a shortened version of Noah and Lisa playing/singing the modern version of "Ding Dong Merrily on High"...and a hugely entertaining Nativity...told in rhyming verse and WONDERFULLY brought to life by our top-notch team of actors!!

As always, we'll be on live on Zoom in our "Virtual Church Hall" from 10.15am-10.30am to say a quick "hello" to one-another before the service...hope to see you there!.
