Project update
Construction schedule updates
This week, we have been working with limited crews onsite to continue the construction of the Delridge Way SW – RapidRide H Line project. We are working to reschedule construction activities throughout the corridor after experiencing the pause last week and wet weather this week. We are working as quickly as possible to help upgrade Delridge Way SW for all users and prepare it for the launch of RapidRide H Line service in 2022.

Throughout the winter, you can continue to expect updates from us as we continue to reschedule construction activities as weather allows. We will not be working on December 25 and January 1.

Update on RapidRide H Line from King County Metro
RapidRide H Line is now scheduled to begin service in 2022 (originally scheduled for September 2021) to ensure substantial construction completion and a smooth launch of service. RapidRide H Line continues to be a priority for Metro despite the economic impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on Metro’s budget and time needed to reach 100% project design. A more detailed construction schedule will be available after a contractor is selected in the coming months.

More information can be found on
King County Metro’s website.
