Dear Friends and Supporters:
As we wind down 2020, a year that will forever be etched in our memories, colored by unprecedented challenges and personal reflection, we must also remember to count our blessings and know that …indeed… there is hope and renewal ahead. For many, Community Gardens of Tucson’s 20 neighborhood gardens have provided “safe harbors,” islands of safety and sanity in which to restore our spirit, commune with our neighbors, connect with the Earth and witness the wonder and the magic of growing fresh, healthy produce for our tables and for families and others in need. So much of CGT’s work in creating a lasting impact on the lives our fellow Tucsonans has been made possible by you … our donors, supporters, volunteers, and others who believe in our mission and invest financially in our cause.
To celebrate our work and to honor your commitment to our organization, we want to share our just-released 2020 Annual Report. As you read about our many accomplishments and achievements this past year, and are inspired by our gardeners’ stories and tales, we hope you will consider making a generous end-of-year gift so that our work in 2021 will thrive and flourish. Every dollar given between now and December 31st will be immediately put to work in support of our mission and programs to create a stronger, healthier, more vibrant Tucson through our community gardens and partnerships.
