“We are a part of community empowerment”
Chairman Rev. Dr. Djiniyini Gondarra

What a year 2020 has been!

This year will be remembered by everyone for so many reasons. For me it has been a privilege to be a part of such an amazing team. To be a part of, and witness all the hard work everyone has put in over the last 12 months reassures me that at ALPA, we practice what we preach “One ALPA, One Vision”

We now stand here in late December and look back on our journey from the start of the year and see how many twists and turns we have walked together.

I would like to take this opportunity to again thank all of the staff at ALPA and our subsidiary businesses. Thank you for bringing your skills and expertise to support one another as we all confronted so many challenges. We can hold our heads high knowing that we have provided services and support to our communities and their members.

In my role as Chairman of ALPA it has been a pleasure to work with the Directors and Executive Management team as we all juggle the different pressures that ALPA continues to face. Business has been very challenging this year and we at ALPA continue to be faithful to our mission statement.

We strive to improve the

health, quality of life, and

economic development of

our members.

We are not just a service providers and business in communities, we are an integral part of these communities. We are one part of community empowerment, a link to for our community members to take freedom of their own future. On behalf of the Board of Directors, we wish you and your family a safe and merry Christmas. Family are the centre of our Yolŋu culture and we encourage you to make the most of your family.

During the festive season I personally encourage you all to take some time to reflect on ourselves, our role in the community and start to plan our your 2021 plans and goals.

Thank you all again and I cannot wait to see you all again in 2021.

Rev. Dr. Djiniyini Gondarra
