Junior News Christmas Party Cancelled...

Dear Bilgolians,

Due to recent and evolving events in our area regarding COVID-19, it is with regret that we are cancelling our much anticipated Nippers Xmas Party on Sunday 20th December, and our Age Manager’s Xmas Drinks on Saturday, 19th.

As I’m sure you can appreciate, our primary task at Bilgola SLSC, is to mitigate and reduce risk to our members and our community at large both for Nippers/SLS activities, and in respect to our current COVID-19 plan.

We had an amazing response to the event, and I thank you all for the support to our club.

Please bear with us, as we work out the refunds to our members for this event.  We will notify re in the upcoming week.

Please stay safe and if showing any symptoms or visited the areas as notified by NSW Health since the weekend of 12/13th December, please get tested and isolate as per guidelines above listed on the Health website.

Merry Christmas to all, and hope all keep well and safe during this time!

Hope to see you all at the beach in the New Year.

At present, our scheduled return date is January 17th, but please look out for emails/notices re up to that time.

Hope to  - See you at the Beach

Latest property news from our Sponsor Ray White Prestige - Palm Beach...

Ray White Now:

The healing process in the broader economy continues. Businesses are more confident, matching similar improvements in consumer sentiment. And both the current readings of business confidence and conditions are above longer-term averages. So with the Australian economy firmly in recovery mode, we just need to keep a focus on jobs to see whether the recovery is generating the sort of growth that authorities are looking for. Super-low interest rates and an improving job market have underpinned this recovery which will tick along in 2021. We believe this will be a strong summer for all our sellers and buyers, With the international border still shut and all Australians holidaying at home this year, this will be a summer to remember.

House of the week

62 Chisholm Avenue Avalon
Inspiring three generations of acclaimed artists, the Hy-Brasil is named after a mythical Garden of Eden off the Irish coast; spanning over 6000sqm with commanding Pittwater and ocean views, it's impossible to miss the connection. Exceptionally private and seemingly perched on top of the world, this is the spot Alexander Stewart Jolly created a bushland masterpiece in 1936 out of native sandstone and timber; heritage-listed and one of only three organic' homes built in Avalon, Jolly's architecture and philosophy have influenced generations of leading architects and designers across Australia.
