We finished our 4th quarter programming and funding despite the 2020 Pandemic. ABSF managed to continue to provide great virtual activities for our teen girls and virtual fundraisers to keep us going. Thank you to all who have supported in any capacity during this challenging year for us all. We truly could not do what we do without you!
 

As we have mentioned before, we are committed to bridge the gap to help our motherless teens by using our three core communicative opportunities. 1. Monthly classes 2. Weekly mentorship and 3. Love packages given for daily use

Each type was taught in detail for the last four months. Tragil taught IQ and EI have advantages and are keys to success. Thank you to our November guest and ultimate GOAL Girl who shared her testimony, Kenisha Anthony, Florida resident and author of Labeled: Ward of the State. Thank you to our December guest and ultimate GOAL Girl who shared her testimony, Tiffany Carroll, successful Kansas City native and Houston, Texas resident.

 

Thanksgiving Edition

We successfully delivered our monthly love gift care packages to all of our GOAL Girls.  We were so excited to be able to provide each girl with a meal for four to share with their family.  
 

This year due to the pandemic we were unable to do our shop till you drop/mall takeover. Instead, we chose to keep the girls safe by mailing their Christmas gifts to them all (gift cards). To continue with our theme of gratitude this year for the first time ever we included “gratitude gifts to guardians.”  We believe this act of kindness from the girls will help cultivate their relationships and show their appreciation to their guardians.
