Fearrington Farmers' Market
every Tuesday, rain or shine
current hours: 3:00-5:00 pm

A break in the rain, just for us!

Good morning!  I hope you had a chance to enjoy the lovely weather yesterday -- nearly 70 degrees in mid-December!  It looks like the rain will be put on pause for Tuesday, so come on out to the market for some fresh food and holiday shopping.  And hey, our vendors will be there rain or shine, so please come see us even if the weather forecasters are wrong :)

Keep warm this winter by stocking your kitchen with ingredients for soups, stews, baked goods, and other good excuses to turn on the oven or gather around the stove.  Our vendors are bringing plenty of delicious things to inspire your meals.  Not sure what to make?  Here's a slideshow of warming soups and stews to get you started.

See you soon,
Kristen

Beechcrest Farm will have our usual good selection of beef and pork.  So many of you enjoy our brats for easy skillet suppers (think pairing with potatoes and cabbage).  Now is the time to simmer short ribs or stew beef in a crock pot, make chili, or hearty soups, plus we can supply fancier items like rib roasts for special holiday dinners.  We are always happy to coordinate delivery to you as well!  See you Tuesday.

Bonlee Grown Farm

It's not too late to order your Christmas gifts or re-stock your own pantry for the holidays! Just email amyraysugg@embarqmail.com or text/call 919-548-0977 to place your order. This is the last time we'll be at market before the New Year!

Kosher dill pickles and bread and butter pickles are back! Bonlee Grown Farm has apple butter, triple berry jam, strawberry fig, banana butter jam, banana bread and pumpkin bread, pickled okra, chow chow (regular and hot), sweet and sour pickles, and a little bit of sauerkraut left!

Plants can brighten your home this winter season! Spider plants and snake plants are great for freshening your airspace, moses-in-the-cradle is a splash of vibrant purple and deep green, and our shade coleus are leafy, pink, purple and green plants great for a shady spot. For sun we have a variety of succulents—ask us about the perfect plant for you!

For the special people on your list we have feather jewelry made from the farm, and hand-carved cedar walking canes and hiking staffs!

Stay safe and thanks for shopping local!

Sweet Little Something  |  link for online orders

Hello friends,

Someone will be at the market this week. If not me, then the lovely Alexandra. We will have a lot of sweet little gifts for you to give away to your friends, neighbors, and /or family. If you decide to keep some for yourself, we won't judge :)

We are also offering to ship things for you so you don't have to go to the post office and can surprise someone with a lovely package.

To see what we've added to the site click here. If you get some random pickup date confirmation, like December 26th or who knows what, ignore it! I can't seem to get the site to send out the right date. Your order is for this week unless you are ordering a Buche de Noel, in which case, you can place the order now but it won't be available until the week of the 20th.

Thank you!
Looking forward to your friendly faces,
A
