Dear Bateman Families and Friends,
Thank you to all who were able to join us in our in-person reopening meetings last week. These were the first of many we will be hosting to stay true to our commitment of transparency and collaboration as we plan to welcome staff and students back to the building.
Please take time to create lasting memories with your families over Winter Break! We wish everyone a very happy holiday season ahead and will you virtually in 2021!

Our 4th - 6th Graders will have a very special author visit next week! You will be able to complete an order form to purchase personalized books for you or a friend. More details to come. Secure online payment will go directly to The Book Cellar in Lincoln Square - more details from Ms. Kelly to come!

Annual Winter Performance: Virtual Sing-A-Long

Come join us for our annual Winter Performance! This year will be virtual but we will all still be able to join in the festivities and sing-a-long to songs chosen by YOU! The virtual video will be posted at 5:30pm on Facebook.

Dine to Donate: Easy Street
Thursday, December 17th from 4pm - 11pm
Support our school at December's Dine to Donate! Easy Street Pizza and Patio is located on 2922 W. Irving Park - right down the street from Bateman! Make sure to mention Bateman for proceeds to go back to our school. No third party ordering will be included. Call 773.866.2010 to place orders for carry out or visit the Easy Street Website for more ordering information.

Family Resale Donation Drop Off Day
Saturday, December 19th from 10 am - 3 pm | 5066 N Lincoln Ave
Contactless drop off at back of store. Mention Bateman and items will be tallied to be included in the partnership voucher program. Family Tree distributes vouchers to partners on a quarterly basis. Vouchers will be disbursed to Bateman families in need.

Applying for fine and performing arts, Service Leadership, or other programs that require admissions screenings? Learn how to prepare for them on GoCPS. #gocps The deadline has been extended to January 8th!
Eligibility Requirements
Many high school programs have minimum eligibility requirements that students must meet in order to apply. Each program also has a selection process that determines how seats are filled. The Elementary and High School Guide provides a comprehensive listing of each high school program, the minimum eligibility requirements (if applicable) and the selection process. Selective Enrollment High Schools Exam
If you are applying to Selective Enrollment High Schools, you can schedule your child’s admissions exam after you submit your application. Additional testing seats will be added when current capacity fills up. Please note that there is no guarantee which sites will offer additional seats.
