Being in quarantine is a surreal experience for all of us, especially because we have never experienced one before. However, this doesn't mean the world hasn't experienced them before. In this activity from Crayola.ca, a real marketing ad from Bell Systems during the Spanish Flu of 1918 is provided, along with prompts for analyzing the ad and modernizing it to match the current pandemic. I think this is a really interesting activity that many of your residents will find meaningful.

We have all been home bound for eons now and out of all this time trapped within the four walls of our humble abodes, has sprung culinary obsessions and passions we all didn’t even know we had! We are all chefs of our own universe and home cooking is a daily occurrence for most. From this new task, many food trends have burst forth and cemented themselves as Quarantine Food All Stars.
