Partnership with Empowerment Dance
The Village of Bellevue Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department has partnered with Lisa Pritzl from Empowerment Dance to provide Dance Classes for Adults and Elders at the Community Center. We have two categories of classes offered through Empowerment Dance. ACTIVE ADULT CLASS The Active Adults classes include Beginner’s Ballet and Beginner’s Jazz, which will be held on Thursday nights from 6:00-7:00 pm. Beginner’s Barre, which combines elements of Pilates, yoga, and ballet and is low impact, is offered on Wednesday mornings from 10:00-11:00. For more information on the Active Adults Classes, please visit the following website: http://empowermentdance.com/classes/active-adults/
EMPOWERED ELDERS CLASS The Empowered Elders Class is designed for individuals 70+ or those with limited mobility who love music and movement. You will be introduced to many different styles of dance in this class. Classes are offered on Wednesday afternoons from 1:00-2:00.
