Muerl Liddell passed away on Sunday afternoon with her children present at her bedside. Please be in prayers for her kids as they grieve, and also be in prayer for all the friends who grieve as well.
As John's Gospel reminds us, the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness shall not overcome it. This Advent, may we take comfort in the knowledge that while we mourn for those who are not gathering with us at Christmas, we can simultaneously hold onto the firm and certain hope of resurrection that we have through Christ Jesus our Lord.
