Seasons Greetings to you all.
Well, hasn't it been a crazy year? This year has given us some time to reflect on the things we are grateful for. The birdsong that came alive over lockdown, time spent with family, a slower pace of living, learning new skills, like making a sour dough starter, and brushing up on old ones, like music. (I have joined a community orchestra this year, and have met several people who pulled out their instruments over lockdown!) Overall we are really grateful to live in one big community called New Zealand.
We are also grateful for our fabulous year in our new premises on Aro St. Thank you to the Aro Valley Community for making us feel very much at home.

We are going to be open Monday 21st of December, 10am- 3pm in case you need an extra day of shopping.

We all need a little breather after this year, so our shop will be closed over the Christmas & New Year period.

Wrens
Earlier this year during Level 2, we installed these gorgeous wee Wrens curtains. Janette normally accompanies the installer, but given this years craziness, it was best not to have too many people on site. She went back a few weeks ago to see the finished project. ⠀

Godwits Patchworked Cushion
Some of you may remember our Godwits fabric by Anthea Grob. We have sold out for now, but we had a customer who loved it so much, we patchworked together offcuts of several different batches for this cushion. Just look at that stunning pattern matching by Demelza!

A honeycomb blind installed just last week. These are the perfect, clean looking window treatment that stack up out of the way. ⠀
