Introducing JCPL-to-Your-Door!
If you can’t get out of your home due to illness, disability or quarantine JCPL will deliver to you!
Here is how JCPL-to-Your-Door works:
- Call your branch by noon to request items for delivery Monday through Friday afternoons.
- The time between placing your request and delivery will vary depending on demand.
- Ask for an estimated delivery date when you place your request.
- Your items will be packaged using stringent safety guidelines.
- A member of our staff will deliver them to your home for a no-contact delivery experience.
- Items will be left at your front door unless you provide other instructions.
- Place items you are returning in that location and our staff member will retrieve them.
- Service is available to residents of Johnson County that have a JCPL borrower's card.

JCPL Presents:
“A Christmas Carol”
“A Christmas Carol” is a holiday classic. There have been multiple movie variations, plays and adaptations of all kinds. We thought we would bring it back to its roots and read it fireside at our Trafalgar Branch. Each episode, read by a different member of the JCPL family, premiers on Facebook or JCPL’s YouTube Channel weeknights at 6 p.m. It started Monday and runs through Christmas Eve.

All-Request Piano Program
JCPL is pleased to present an All-Request Piano Show Tue, Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. Kaleen Dolan is a Chicago based pianist who will brighten up your evening by playing your requests. The show starts at 7 on our Facebook page.

Once Upon a Time, There was a Candle...
The JCPL Foundation and Friends have commissioned a limited-edition Middle Davids candle named “Once Upon a Time.” Candles are $20 each. Proceeds go towards creating lifelong learning opportunities, unique experiences, such as author visits and expanding library materials.
