Dear LCA Family,

During this season of Advent and of gift giving, I am repeatedly reminded about the generosity of our LCA faculty, staff, parents, and constituents. Nothing illustrates such a fact better than our recent Celebrate Teachers and Staff giving request. I am thrilled to report that because of the faithful response of our greater LCA community, we raised over $73,000 to use to say thank you to our faculty and staff during the Christmas season. Funds raised set a new record, and without a doubt, such selfless giving is typical of our LCA culture. On behalf of our entire LCA employee family, I wish to offer a heartfelt THANK YOU for your continued support of our LCA employees during the holiday season and beyond.

Merry Christmas to you and your families! God bless you now and in 2021.

Lessons & Carols Christmas Program

The LCA Junior High Chorus and our 7th grade drama students did a wonderful job with their virtual Christmas program, "Lessons & Carols." If you have not had a chance to see it, it can be viewed here.

Congratulations to Coach Doug Charles and the LCA Football Team on making it to the 2A State Championship this Friday, December 18 at 3:00pm at Kroger Field. For all gameday and ticket information click HERE.

Heading to the football game on Friday? Be sure to stop by WINGS for all of your spirit wear - including the hat that Ace and Coach Charles are wearing. The WINGS Store will be open until 2:00pm on Friday, December 18 for any last minute items you want to get on your way to Kroger Field!

The WINGS Store is currently open with the following guidelines to ensure a safe, sanitized environment for our LCA families to shop during this holiday season:

Prior to entering WINGS please complete the survey on your phone at covid.lexca.org
If you are experiencing any of the symptoms listed on the survey or if you have a “YES” answer to any of the questions on the survey you may NOT enter WINGS. You may call WINGS at 859-422-5791, and we are happy to assist you with purchases over the phone and offer curbside pickup.
Masks are required.
Temperatures will be taken.
Sanitize your hands. Hand sanitizers are located at entrances.
Shoppers who are not members of the same household will be required to maintain six (6) feet of social distance.
The fitting room will not be open for trying on clothing.
Maximum occupancy at one time is 5 shoppers.
If WINGS has reached maximum occupancy, shoppers will be instructed to wait in their car in the designated WINGS parking spots until a WINGS employee notifies them.

Please note that Parents in Prayer will resume on
Monday, January 11, 2021.

Thank you to everyone who donated to this year's Wellington Wishes. Due to the generosity of our elementary students and families, Christmas gifts were purchased for 64 students at Wellington Elementary.
