The Craft Malt Conference is our community’s time to come together each year for deep learning and active networking throughout the craft malt supply. While the conference typically rotates to cities around the United States and is hosted by local craft maltsters, this year we’re excited to adapt the tradition to a fully online approach. Read on to learn about some important conference updates!

The early bird registration deadline for the virtual 2021 Craft Malt Conference has been extended through January 10th, 2021 to allow as many individuals as possible to take advantage of the discounted admission rate. REGISTER NOW.

2021 Soles of Malt Award

Nomination deadline is January 4th!

We are still seeking nominees for the 2021 Soles of Malt Award. This award is named in memory of William Soles and stands for selfless and philanthropic stewardship of craft malt. The recipient of the 2021 award should embody these traits. The 2021 award recipient will be announced on Friday, February 12th during our Virtual Awards Ceremony for the 2021 Malt Cup, held at the end of Craft Malt Con Online.

The winner will be chosen by a committee led by CMG board member and award founder, Twila Soles of Grouse Malt House, as well as past award recipients. The award winner will receive a $500 scholarship to provide an experience for learning and collaboration. The scholarship funding must be applied toward connecting and collaborating for the betterment of their soul and craft malt.

Please submit nominations for the 2021 Soles of Malt Award no later than Thursday, January 4th, 2020.
