The Seminary Diversity Leadership Scholarship will be featured during the George Fox Gives campaign that kicks off next week. 

This scholarship provides funding to leaders who are committed to pastoral ministry in diverse spaces. Ministry leaders in Korean American and African American churches have been the beneficiaries of this scholarship.

Alumni Spotlight

Alumna Chesarae Fletcher, (MATS, '19) recently developed a listening practice built on the promises of Sabbath. She launched a spiritual formation circle, "Sabbath With My Sisters," that gathers women monthly to journey together in facing the deep work of entering God's rest.

Joel Sommer (MDiv, '11) recently collaborated with a team of consultants to lead diversity, equity and inclusion training for the entire 3,300-person staff of TriMet. 

Libby Boatwright (DMin, '11) releases The Last Things We Talk About: Your Guide to End of Life Transitions on April 6, 2021. 

Kyle Chalko (DMin/LGP, '20) is continuing to direct Pathway, a national school of ministry, with students in 47 states.

Doug Bursch, (DMin, '19) will release Posting Peace: Why Social Media Divides Us and What We Can Do About It  through InterVarsity Press, April 20, 2021.

Madleine Sara (DMin, '18) was identified as one of several influential Palestinian Christian women by Believers Portal. She mentors Arab women leaders and theologians, has founded a women's empowerment ministry, and serves as professor and pastor in Jerusalem. 

Josh Dunahoo (MATS, '20) and his wife, Alyssa, welcomed a baby girl last fall! They also accepted a position as lead pastor at a church on Whidbey Island, Washington.

Mary Walker (DMin/LGP, '19) recently wrote Women of Faith and Courage: Stories of the Women in the Bible and is working on her second book, Women of Peace and Justice

Poppy Smith (MASF, '08) is a Certified Life Coach with American Association of Christian Counselors, and recently published a coaching book, Go For It! Make Your Life Count for God! and became a certified domestic abuse recovery advocate.  

Joshua Anderson (MASD, '20) recently moved into a new apartment and is loving it.
