Season's greetings from the Chilterns Conservation Board staff team!

As 2020 draws to a close, our entire staff team would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your help and support to care for the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty this year. (We hope you like our header image because getting festive selfies from the team may have been the most difficult task our comms team has done all year!)

On a serious note, we all know that 2020 has been a very challenging year for everyone; businesses, families and communities have suffered, and it will take a long time to start rebuilding the lives and livelihoods of many. During the pandemic we focused our efforts on forging new and building upon existing relationships in order to work towards restoring wildlife and habitats, reviving the local economy and renewing people's love for nature. We are just at the beginning of a very long journey, but it means a lot to know that we have so many like-minded friends and colleagues like you, who care about the Chilterns and the natural environment.
You can read more about the work we have been doing in our annual magazine 'Outstanding Chilterns' which shares the best of the wonderful Chilterns landscape – its nature, heritage, people and communities. You’ll find articles on the best ways to keep active in the Chilterns, one-day itineraries for all to enjoy, as well as a series of social distance friendly walks and lots of project and conservation news.
To receive a copy of the magazine  please complete this request form and we'll pop it in the post to you in the New Year.

Wherever you are – in the Chilterns or further afield – we wish you our very best for a happy, healthy and safe Christmas and New Year.

Best wishes
the CCB Team
