Resurrection Moments
All FFLs are encouraged to share your “Resurrection Moments!”  How has your faith and your ministry been "resurrected" or given new life through the words, actions, or affirmation of someone whose life you have touched? We invite you to submit your stories at this link. Submissions will remain anonymous, and you can change names/places as well. Stories may be submitted through March 19, and will be included in the April edition of InFo.

If you have a story to share for the next edition of InFo, we invite you to send a short video or write an article about it (approx. 200 words). Please send submissions to Lynne Chapman.

News to Know
Annual Faith Formation Report (AFFR) Summary
Each year FFLs are asked to share information about themselves and their programs. This information is helpful to the Archdiocesan Faith Formation Team in helping us to report accurate information to the USCCB and the Vatican, helping us to better understand the fine work you all do, and informing us in our efforts to assist Faith Formation Leaders in connecting to resources and ideas in the various ways in which they serve. A summary of what we have learned about Faith Formation in 2020-2021 can be found here, or you can request a copy by emailing Kevin Feyen.

The Year of St. Joseph
On the 150th Anniversary of the Proclamation of St. Joseph as "Patron of the Universal Church," Pope Francis has proclaimed a "Year of St. Joseph," with his apostolic letter Patris Corde ("With a Father's Heart"). During this year, the pope invites us to:
          * increase our love for St. Joseph.
          * implore his intercession.
          * imitate his virtues and zeal.
Begin your Year of St. Joseph by reading Patris Corde and this message from Archbishop Jackels, which highlights key points of the Pope's letter. Click here for resources from the Archdiocese for the Year of St. Joseph.

          Ministering With Media (ERC)

The short, often cloudy days of winter can sometimes bring our spirits down. With additional stresses going on in our lives, it is prudent to be conscientious about keeping our spirits up. Aleteia recently posted a slideshow: Ten Simple Ways to Boost Your Spirits. Consider viewing it for yourself and sharing with the families you serve. Keep in mind, also, that the ERC offers make-you-laugh games (The Catholic Card Game), feel-good feature films (I Am Potential), prayer/meditation books (The Worrywart’s Prayer Book: Forty “Help-Me-Get-A-Grip God” Meditations and Prayers), and much more! For more uplifting resources to help yourself and those you serve, contact the ERC staff. Now, please, go take a quick “mental health break,” read Philippians, 4:4-9, and rejoice in the Lord!

These skills enable those with vision loss to fully participate in life, through work, family and community.  Click here for more information.

Lent: Practicing Corporal/Spiritual Works of Mercy
Lent can be the perfect reminder to practice works of mercy, especially in ministry to the poor and the disabled. As we think about prayer, fasting, and almsgiving, Lent can be for us a journey of mercy.
Check out resources for inclusive catechesis available here. For additional resources and support, contact Lynne Chapman or Tricia Tranel.
