Recognizing COVID-19’s continuing disruptive effects, the Peter & Elizabeth Tower Foundation announces guidelines for its 2021 COVID-19 Response grants. Organizations with existing programming in the Foundation’s funding geography expressly serving young people with intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, mental illness, and/or substance use disorders and their families are eligible to apply for unrestricted grants of up to $25,000.
Submissions for the first round of grants are due by 11:59:59 p.m. on Wednesday, January 13. The Foundation will communicate funding decisions by Wednesday, February 17. The application is brief and does not require submission through the Foundation’s regular grants portal. The Foundation will offer a second round of 2021 COVID-19 Response grants with a July 7 submission deadline and an August 11 decision date.
The Foundation will also resume some of its regular grantmaking in 2021, with submission deadlines in April and August. Guidelines for the Foundation’s Programs & Services, Strengthening Partner Capacity, and Community Change grant opportunities will be available in January 2021.
Stay safe and be well,
