A Christmas Message from our Executive Director

Christmas is upon us, and it’s definitely the most wonderful time of the year! It’s a time of anticipation and celebration of the arrival of our Savior, Jesus Christ. That the King of Glory would come to secure our salvation is the greatest gift of all time. As we reflect this season on what God has gifted mankind, we, at Kindway, are grateful for the many gifts extended toward those impacted by incarceration from our volunteers and donors. These investments in time and resources continue to advance God’s mission and very necessary work through Kindway.

2021 is just around the corner and it couldn't have arrived soon enough. We miss our brothers and sisters on the inside and we are excited to be gearing up for our return to Ohio prisons. With vaccines on the horizon, our plan for 2021 is to return to the Marion Correctional Institution (MCI) and the Ohio Reformatory for Women (ORW) as well as a new site; Pickaway Correctional Institution (PCI). Kindway Volunteers remain connected and often inquire of when they would be welcome back inside. We remain hopeful that day would come soon.

After such a taxing year, may the Lord allow you to see His hand at work around you this Christmas Season and well into the New Year!
