Even with the arrival of vaccinations, the impact of the pandemic continues to pose a grave health threat to all of us. Indigenous Peoples tend to be at higher risk from infectious diseases like Covid-19. Some experts say the impact could destroy whole nations and communities. HIP is needed more than ever and as Indigenous and Non-Indigenous partners we are committed to working together to address the emergent needs caused by COVID19 and strengthen community well-being.
