While none of us could have predicted the challenges of 2020, all of us at Hawaii Gas are grateful and inspired by the aloha and community spirit that we have seen and been a part of this year.

When the pandemic started, our employees mobilized and adapted quickly, to ensure our customers had the gas they needed, which was particularly essential for medical businesses, first responders and laundry services that rely on gas for cleaning and sanitizing.

Meet Cheryl Lien-Fua and Sophie Tokuda!

Cheryl Lien-Fua, Manager, and Sophie Tokuda, Supervisor, lead the LPG (Propane) Oahu Asset & Delivery division! Both Cheryl and Sophie have been with Hawaii Gas for more than 30 years! They have been trailblazers for women, setting the example and inspiring others to take on leadership roles in operations. In the spirit of giving back to the community, Cheryl also helped to coordinate the 2020 Aloha United Way Campaign in raising resources and support for AUW as the campaign chair. Mahalo Cheryl and Sophie for being amazing leaders at Hawaii Gas and for bringing out the best in our team.
