Together, we helped an Alaskan school district bring hydroponics education to one school, and fresh vegetables, to their Arctic Circle community. Bob Pymn, the Principal at John Frederson School in Venetie, says he has ordered 25 kits to give to each family so they can continue the work at school and show that vegetables can be grown at any time of the year!
In addition, the Yukon Flats School District, which serves 250 K-12 students, will have five more hydroponics systems early next year. This area is in the northeast of the state between the Arctic Circle and the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
Here in Nevada, we donated hundreds of pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables from the school gardens to feed families in need.
Together, we inspired more children than ever before.
Thank you!
We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together this year.
Without your help, none of this would have been possible.
But our organization will be impacted by the effects of the pandemic for the next couple of years.
With your generosity, we can continue our mission and do more to improve the lives of students across the country and now above the Arctic Circle!
With that in mind, we are asking you to give as much as you can to support this movement that’s making an impact in STEM education across the nation.
