Weekly News
Dear friends,
This Sunday is the 4th in Advent. On this last Sunday before Christmas we reflect on The Blessed Virgin Mary. It was her "yes" to God at the Annunciation that opened the way for God to come among us as the Babe of Bethlehem. Click here for the Scripture readings. After Mass please stay to help put up the Church Christmas Tree if you can.
Christmas Raffle thanks
A huge thank you to Mary Kavanagh for organising this and raising a staggering £650!
Back to Basics Course
After mass on Sunday, Fr Guy will lead the Back-to-Basics course on the The Eucharist. Everyone is welcome but you must attend if you wish to be Baptised and/or Confirmed at Candlemas.
New Icon of S. Anne, mother of Our Lady
Ronnie McArthur was a faithful member and generous benefactor of our church until he was tragically killed in a road accident last year. Before he died he commissioned an Icon in memory of his wife Anne by the distinguished Russian artist Olga Geoghegan. This has now been placed in the south aisle next to where Ronnie and Anne used to sit.
