Update: Revision of Capability Assessment Questionnaire

On December 23rd 2020, the capability assessment (Questionnaire IOGP 423-01) will be revised with the following changes taking place;

Changes:
• Questionnaire renamed from IOGP 423-01 to Operating Management System
• All A, B, C and D score descriptions will be revised (textual clarifications)
• Expectations from United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) will be included in relevant questions
• Certain questions will be removed
• Certain questions will be added, mainly related to human rights
• Certain sections have been renamed
• The 'Guide for Capability Assessment' will be revised to reflect the revised questionnaire (available under Capability Assessment's right panel).

Please note that the term 'OMS' used in the questionnaire includes HSE and quality and the term 'HSE' includes occupational health, working environment, safety, security, external environment and human rights.

Consequences:
All capability assessments will become "incomplete" and will require your attention to ensure that the revised questionnaire gets finalized as soon as possible. Please also note, that on January 1st 2021, section 9.2 will also become incomplete, as numbers for 2020 can be submitted from January 1st onwards. We strongly encourage you to review and complete the questionnaire by early January 2021.

New feature: Additional information in Supplier Search/Exports

Users now have the benefit of assessing additional information about a supplier when selecting the "list view" option on conducted searches. The additonal information is increased further, with additonal columns, when exporting a search result. See examples below:

(Example of additional supplier information is available in exports, such as organization number, credit rating (not shown in this example) last audit date, number of employees, turnover (in thousands), currency, financial statement date, main contact person details such as, name, role/title, email, phone number, and headquarter address information).

(Example of exported company data, from Supplier Search Exports can be made through most user interfaces through the 'Create Report'-function.)

New feature: Optional feedback on supplier registration(s)

Operator users now have the option to provide personalised feedback to suppliers regarding details of the registrations (e.g. inadequate product or service descriptions, incorrect category registrations, outdated contact information, etc.) allowing suppliers to receive, and operators to provide, more constructive feedback pertaining to supplier registrations in EPIM JQS.

(Example of how the 'Notify supplier'-function can be accessed and used)

New feature: Quality of Content Notification

In November we introduced a new type of auto-generated system notification, issued to all suppliers with incomplete registrations. This notification is also meant as a tool for supplier's to easily identify areas that must be updated, should be updated, and could be updated. This notification is currently scheduled to be issued on a fortnightly basis, on the first and third Sunday of each month.

New feature: Expiring Supplier Flag Notification

If you or anyone in your organization has set a so-called "flag" on any supplier, with corresponding reason and expiry date, you will receive a notification 30 days prior to expiry date, reminding you that the flag is set to expire.
(Example of the three flag options (green, yellow, red) in use. The flags are only visible for the user that sets them, and to users within the same user organization)
