Huge thanks to all who made our AGM and 30th launch a resounding success!

COVID-19 & Inclusive Education

ALLFIE is exposing gaps in law & policy during the pandemic.
The Government has introduced statutory guidance requiring schools to provide remote education for those affected by Covid-19. We want to know if providers are being inclusive to Disabled learners, please complete and share:

ALLFIE has made a written submission to the SEND All Party Parliamentary Group Inquiry into the SEND framework and had meetings with Sally-Ann Hart and Olivia Blake (SEND APPG Chair/Vice Chair) and Lisa Cameron (Disability Chair). On 2 December Simone Aspis (ALLFIE Campaigns and Policy Coordinator) presented evidence to the SEND All Party Parliamentary Group, including findings of ALLFIE’s Inclusive Education Lockdown Survey:

Disabled Black Lives Matter

To celebrate Black History Month we published a series of powerful articles addressing racial and intersectional inequalities, featuring contributions from Michelle Daley, Dr Navin Kikabhai and Dr Armineh Soorenian:

University Admissions System

The Government has announced a Department for Education consultation on possible reforms to the University Admissions System, meaning offers will be based on students’ actual rather than predicted examination grades:

Project News

Inclusion Champions Network

We are meeting professionals working with families of Disabled children and Young people, laying foundations to support more joint work with Disabled Peoples Organisations and service providers for Disabled Young people. This includes hosting webinars with speakers and topics supporting DPO's work:
